Heather L. Proctor

I’ve had an incredible journey to get here. Before I graduated school, I got a job as a caricature artist in California. I stayed for a decade, and I met the most creative, interesting people there. They were older than me, and had gone to college for art related things and shared so much with me.They opened my eyes to a whole new world of art and life. Eventually, life changed and I moved on from theme park art to traveling across the US (and even Canada!) to draw people’s faces. I met even more amazing people and even discover a huge community of artists who connect from across the globe. The people I learned from will always stick with me and influence my art where ever I may go. When I’m not traveling about, I’m at home making art, writing or creating something!

I’ve always been a digital fan, but painting is what really captures my heart and interest. Oils, gauche, acrylic, watercolor… I adore them all and consider myself a “Jack-of-all-trades” kind of artist. I can render realistically, or draw up a cartoon. I specialize in pet portraiture.
